Accounts

Savings

A share savings account needs a minimum balance of $25.00, and can earn a monthly dividend as long as there is a balance of $100.00 or more. The $25.00 allows members to have one vote in our annual business meeting, which is held in May. The savings account also gives members ownership in our credit union. A savings account is needed to open any other account.

Club

Our club accounts include vacation, Christmas and tax accounts. These accounts earn a monthly dividend with a minimum balance of five dollars. These accounts are perfect for saving for the holidays, vacations, or even putting money aside to pay your taxes. There is no minimum balance required.

Money Market

A money market account requires a minimum balance of $2,500.00. Money markets earn a higher dividend than a share savings account, and therefore make your savings worthwhile. The money that is put into a money market is not locked in and can be taken out at any time, as long as the minimum balance of $2,500.00 remains in the account. There is no limit to the amount of times one transfers money to or from this account.

Auxiliary Accounts

An auxiliary account has no minimum balance and is another form of a savings account. It allows one to put money aside and to keep it separate from their share savings account. It is perfect if one is saving for a child’s college education, or to keep money aside for a new car. The possibilities are endless!

Checking

Unlike any of the other accounts, a checking account does not earn a dividend. With a checking account, however, one can write checks, receive an ATM card, and have access to one’s money twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

IRA’s

IRA Shares: Our IRA accounts require a minimum opening balance of $100.00. We offer both traditional and Roth IRA’s.
